The French ARGO Data Centre

The French ARGO Data Centre (COA) is in charge of the general coordination of the ERIC Euro-Argo.

It is in charge of

  • the general coordination of IFREMER’s commitments to the national RI programme,
  • rational interfacing with the ERIC Euro-Argo on the European level,
  • the ARGO observation service on the national level.

The role of coordination can be extended to projects associated with the national RI, such as the MOCCA project piloted by the ERIC Euro-Argo or the TAC (Thematic Assembly Centre) an in situ Copernicus Earth observation programme.
