Your ERC Grant with Ifremer as Host Institution

ERC Bringing Great Ideas

You have an excellent track record and a brilliant research idea and you wish to apply for an ERC grant with Ifremer as host institution? We can help you!

The European Research Council (ERC) offers prestigious grants to support groundbreaking projects led by outstanding scientists of any nationality. Any project in any field of research can be supported as long as it meets the ERC’s excellence standards. Scientific excellence is the sole selection criterion.

What does it fund?

The ERC can support a Principal Investigator and their individual research team. The funding awarded is important enough to encourage innovative research projects that cross disciplinary boundaries, pioneering ideas that address new and emerging fields and applications that introduce unconventional, innovative approaches. Practically, it can fund staff costs of the team, consumables, equipment, overheads, etc.

At Ifremer, a dedicated team supports internal or external candidates who wish to apply for an ERC Grant:

  • Project definition and review, personalized analysis of funding opportunities
  • Administrative guidance
