Ifremer, partner of the MaRINET2 project
MaRINET2 (Marine Renewables Infrastructure Network) is an European Commission (Horizon 2020 programme) funded initiative which aims at accelerating the development of marine renewable energy technology.
It brings together a network of 57 marine research facilities in countries all over Europe, including Ifremer facilities, to offer periods of marine renewable energy testing at no cost to applicants through European Commission funding.
Ifremer, coordinator of the MaRINET2 Trans-National Access, offers through this programme access at no cost to its testing facilities for hydrodynamics (Brest Wave tank and Boulogne sur Mer wave/current flume) and for materials in marine environment (Brest material testing facilities) for research groups and industries developing new technologies for marine energy converters.
The 1st call for proposals for the Trans-National Access programme will open on the 10th of April 2017.
